📷 Recolonizer Devlog – Camera Movement Overhaul
Hey folks! Quick update on Recolonizer—let’s talk camera movement.
After watching a bunch of playthroughs and reading your comments, one thing became super clear:
👉 The fixed, security-cam-style camera setup was not it.
It looked cool, yeah—but it made managing defenses feel clunky and frustrating, especially when ships were attacking from multiple angles and you couldn’t move fast enough between zones.
So I’m changing it up:
🎥 You’ll soon be able to freely drag the camera anywhere across the playable area.
No more snapping between fixed views. You’ll still have zone-based towers and defenses, but now you’re in full control of where you're looking at all times.
This should make it way easier to stay on top of threats and plan your moves without feeling like the camera is fighting you.
